About Us: Polytope Labs is a leading blockchain research and development studio building Hyperbridge, a pioneering interoperability protocol at the forefront of blockchain technology and the world’s first verifiable multi-chain interoperability protocol. We seek a founding Front-End Engineer to help build functional, engaging, and state-of-the-art user interfaces.

Job Description:

• Develop Performant Web Applications: Lead the creation of high-performance, scalable web applications that ensure a seamless user experience within our ecosystem.
• Mastery in Web Animations: Utilize your expertise in web animations to enhance user interaction, making complex data and transactions visually intuitive and appealing.
• Integration with Blockchain: Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring security and efficiency in data handling.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience: A track record of working at top-tier tech companies in Nigeria, such as Moniepoint, Paystack, Flutterwave, Piggyvest, or Interswitch, where you've demonstrated your ability to lead front-end development initiatives.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in programming with Javascript and Typescript.
  • Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue.js.
  • Deep understanding of CSS animations, transitions, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with webpack, Babel, or other module bundlers and transpilers.
  • Knowledge of RESTful services and WebSocket for real-time applications.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • A sense of urgency in getting work done.
  • Mission-driven with a high level of personal agency.
